Two Tailored ADHD Assessments—Thoughtfully Designed for Children, Young Adults, and Adults
Comprehensive ADHD Assessments with a Multidisciplinary Approach
Our joint assessments offer a thorough and integrated understanding of ADHD by combining both psychiatric and psychological expertise. This approach is especially valuable in complex cases or when detailed insights are needed for educational planning, exam accommodations, or therapeutic support.
The full assessment includes two appointments:
- A 90-minute consultation with Dr. Leclercq, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
- A 4-hour session with Dr. Boulard, Clinical Psychologist
Following these appointments, a detailed written report is provided within three weeks of the final session.
Flexible Assessment that meets your needs.
Dr Leclercq's assessment - 90-minute assessment
For Children, Dr. Leclercq conducts a comprehensive evaluation through a conversational approach involving both the child and their parents.
He begins by meeting the child with their parents to gather multiple perspectives and observe the child in a comfortable setting.
When appropriate, he also sees children over the age of five individually, ensuring the process is engaging and respectful. This holistic approach helps identify concerns, understand behaviours, and involve the child in their care journey—all typically within a single appointment.
For adolescents and young adults, the assessment is adapted to reflect their growing independence and evolving challenges. Dr. Leclercq explores academic, emotional, and social aspects of their experience, helping them gain clarity and confidence. The process encourages self-awareness and supports transitions into higher education, work, or adult life.
The adult assessment explores attention-related challenges, emotional regulation, and daily functioning, providing a clear foundation for diagnosis and tailored recommendations.
Dr Boulard's assessment - 4-hour assessment
Dr Boulard's assessments typically include tools such as an IQ test, the WIAT (Wechsler Individual Achievement Test), and the QbCheck—a computer-based test that objectively measures attention and activity levels.
- For children, the assessment helps parents and educators better understand their child’s learning profile, emotional needs, and behavioural patterns—highlighting both strengths and areas that may need support.
- For young adults, it offers clarity during a critical stage of life, supporting academic planning, emotional wellbeing, and the transition into independence.
- For adults, the process provides insight into long-standing challenges, often misattributed to stress, anxiety, or burnout—while also identifying cognitive strengths and practical strategies for daily life.
